Key Ingredients

Nettle

Urtica dioica

Nettle's virtues mirror the dark, damp, rich soil where it loves to take root: nutrient dense, fortifying, and a support for excess dampness and stagnation in the body. The tincture's alcohol content neutralizes the plant's characteristic sting while preserving it's mineral-rich constituents.

Peppermint

Mentha x piperita

Cooling, refreshing peppermint imparts a festive flavor to herbal potions alongside its various herbal virtues. Peppermint may be supportive for the lungs, and healthy digestion. Its a fun and easy plant to grow -- just be sure to let it take root in an area where you don't mind it taking over!

Dandelion

Taraxacum officinale

This garden-variety weed possesses a bounty of herbal virtues. The roots contain inulin, considered a prebiotic compound to support a healthy gut flora. Taken before a meal, the bitterness of the roots primes the body for digestion by reminding stomach, liver and gallbladder that its time to start revving up those digestive juices. Dandelion may also support the liver in it's normal healthy function of detoxifying the blood.*
